God hears our prayers with intensive ears. He is, after all, our Father, the one who sent His Son to pay the ransom for us all. Our worth is found in His Son, Jesus. The cost to the Father for us was His Son. So, does He choose to hear us as we cry out to Him? Oh yes! The cost was too great for Him to do less. He hears our every word, knows our every thought and sees every tear. God hears us, intently, carefully and compassionately.

Quiet Time
We can talk to God because He hears us. Our voice is a unique voice; a vocal signature that signs the prayer we pray. He takes our words very seriously. He listens to the painful plea for the healing of memories from the past; He listens to the desperate cry of a parent for a wandering child; He listens to the young man that is down so low and has no where else to turn; He listens to the cries of the little girl who hears, once again, her parents fighting and prays for love to once again find it’s place in their home. God hears, intently, carefully and compassionately.
Oh lovely Father, help us to draw ever closer to you. Hold us as we lift our voices to you in worship and as we pray for your care. We thank you Lord, as we know you hear our cry and have our well being in mind within your actions.
Psalm 142:1 says:

“I cry out to the Lord;
  I pray to the Lord for mercy.”
Isaiah 49:13 says:

“Shout for joy, oh heavens;
rejoice, oh earth;
burst into song, oh mountains!
For the Lord comforts His people
and will have compassion on His afflicted ones.”
