PREVIOUS PRAYER REQUESTS

Ø A van carrying 14 adults with disabilities was in a serious car accident on August 19th in Boca Raton, Florida.  Four of the 14 are in critical condition.  Please remember them in prayer, especially for salvation for those who do not know Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Ø Please remember Rev. Jim Cymballa in prayer as he speaks to the attendees of the “All Church Ministries” convention for the PenFlorida District of the Assemblies of God.

Ø Marie – Hollywood, Florida says: “Please pray for my dad’s (George) salvation and that the Lord would place a gentle spirit in his heart. Also, my mother (Jean) is 84 and has had numerous seizures and needs healing from the Lord.” 

Ø Please remember Rev. John and Cathy Potter and family. They are missionaries to Zimbabwe, Africa and are in desperate need of:
1. A car for their missionary travel needs
2. Residency back home to Zimbabwe (because of
   governmental unrest had to move to South Africa)
3. Wisdom and discernment in regard to his ministry
   work in South Africa
4. Traveling mercies
5. Traveling mercies and effectiveness in a mission’s
    trip for their daughter Michele to Ireland.

Ø Joanne R. – Coconut Creek, FL says: “Please pray for a healing from the pain and hurt caused by the past as well as the need for a job.”

Ø Our new friends, Pete and Carol, from Ft. Meyers, Florida are asking that we remember their nephew Brandon in prayer as he is battling with leukemia. Let us pray for the Lord's healing touch for Brandon and a wonderful witness for those who do not know the Lord and His marvelous love.

Ø A senior pastor in the New Port Richey area of Florida asked that we remember his church in prayer as he expressed a desire to see Godly leadership rise up in his congregation so that even more ministry would come from the church to the community where the church is.

Ø Another senior pastor in the New Port Richey area of Florida also asked for prayer as he is seeking a complete healing from his operation he had a few months ago. He had his kidney removed which was a result of injuries sustained from a car accident he had a number of years ago. The pastor is also asking for the favor of the Lord to see growth in numbers and in spiritual matters within the church. His desire too is to see more and more ministry coming from his church to reach the community, country and the world.

Ø Allan and Reven of Boca Raton, Florida, dear friends of Compassionate Care Ministries, ask that we remember their daughter and son-in-law in prayer.  Their daughter, Evie, and son-in-law Oliver, are newly weds and recently received poor news about the health of Oliver's heart. The condition is potentially dangerous. Let us lift up Oliver to the Lord and pray that our merciful God would heal his damaged heart as well as giving him the understanding that it is the Lord who is the healer. 

Ø Violetta, from the Romanian Church of God in Hollywood, Florida asks that we remember a young lady by the name of Judy in prayer. Judy was in the hospital caring for her young child who has disabilities. As Violetta, a hospital worker, was caring for Judy and her child the Lord impressed in her mind to contact Compassionate Care Ministries and ask for us to contact Judy for prayer and compassion. Dear friends let's lift up Judy and her child in prayer to the Lord, asking that the Holy Spirit would speak to Judy of God's great love for her and her child when Pastor Joe and Ann contact her.

Ø Elizabeth Quijano of Margate, FL asked that we remember her in prayer as she had her knee replacement operation about 10 weeks and she is now experiencing great pain and swelling in that area. She has gone to the Dr. and he is concerned that there may be an infection in the knee which will cause many complications. Nothing is relieving the pain. Let us lift our sister’s prayer need to the Lord and pray for her complete healing.

Ø Carmela from Miami Beach, Florida asks that we remember her in prayer as she is in a working environment that has been difficult to work in. She prays the Holy Spirit will change the atmosphere and the hearts of many of the workers there. She works in an institution which cares for the profoundly disabled and states that there is not much love shown there by the employees.

Ø Mr. George Pojoga of Boca Raton, Florida (a good friend of the ministry) is ailing from joint pain, especially in his back. Let’s lift him up to the Lord and pray for a healing from the cause of the pain.

Ø Pastor Charles Eldon of Hollywood Calvary Church in Hollywood, FL. - That the Lord would heal his body so he could have more time to effectively minister to his people within the church, as going to dialysis for kidney failure takes time away from the church needs.

Ø Pastor Derrell Miles of Lakeside Assembly of God in Boynton Beach, Florida is asking that we remember his son David in prayer as he is ailing from strep throat and it has not subsided as of yet.

Ø Pastor Mario of South Beach Ministries asks for prayer that the Lord would provide a building for ministry in Miami Beach. They are also praying that the Lord would provide a home to live in near by.

Ø In His Word Publishers, Inc is asking for prayer that the Lord would use this new Christian publishing ministry in a powerful way for the glory of God.

Ø Martha Blunt from Massachusetts will be once again involved in a medical missions endeavor.  This time she will be traveling to the country of Zimbabwe to help administer compassion and medical/dental care to the hurting.  She asks that we remember her and the work in prayer.  She also asks that we remember her family in prayer while she is away.  It will be an extended trip and she’ll be returning on August 31.

Ø Adrian and Carman Burgos ask that we remember their son, Israel, as he is fighting cancer of the bladder and is scheduled to have surgery on September 7.
